Our Stay... We are just back from a great 10 days in Domain de Kerlann. We travelled with our two boys 15 and 9 yrs from Roscoff. This was our first time in a campsite in France and we were very happy with the site. It is a very big site but the pool and bar does not feel packed whatsoever. We booked a two bed elegance mobile home and on arrival found it a bit compact but we were unable to upgrade due to campsite been fully booked. This however did not effect our holiday. The site itself is very easy to find and very well laid out we had rented bikes and u would need them as it was a tight walk up and down to pool or bar area. We had intended to cylce to local beaches and villages but we did not leave campite on them due to no cycle routes on local roads. The pool area is spotless we were blessed with good weather and benefitted from both indoor and out door pools. Both very well supervised by lifeguards. They also had two 'late night' swims which the boys just loved!! The kids club seemed very well run and the younger kids seemed to be having a ball. There is plenty to do all day long in the campsite. The entertainment crew were great and contrary to previous reviews I thought they put on good varied shows. The llocation is great for exploring France. Within 15 mins of park their is lovely beaches villages to explore. Port Marnech is a lovely beach where u can rent kayaks. Three seater for 1.5 hrs for twenty euros including life jackets. Corneac is a lovely town and defo worth a visit. Pont Aven itself is a gorgeous little village. The local markets are great for milling about and filling up on gorgeous food. The only downside if u would even call it a downside with the campsite was the lighting around site is very bad only half the lights work if even. The bar is also a bit pricey more so than at home for what you get. The shop is scarcely stocked but very handy for bread etc in morn this is not a problem as their is a huge amount of supermarkets within 5-10 mins of site. The reception staff also could be more helpful they didn't really advise on anything. After ready previous reviews I scrubbed mobile home from top to bottom even washed down walls and they just walked in a looked into fridge!!! Next time I will do a cats lick!! All in all a great holiday will defo return. Surrounding area beautiful expensive to eat out and groceries more expensive so would recommend bringing shopping with you and hoodies for night time. Looking forward to our next visit.
cool We spent 10 days here and had a fantastic time. We drove to the Euro tunnell and then a 6.5 hour drive to the site. If you have not driven in France before do not worry its a treat. Roads are lovely and not much traffic speed limit is 70-80 which is great. Make sure you get a quiet caravan away from the main stage so its quiet. Has a limited shop on site but hypermarket 2 miles away and larger ones fairly close. The caravans do not seem to have oven trays but has everything else you may need. On site reastaurant was a bit hit and miss and slow but saw regulars there so that says a lot. Wi Fi did not work always a reason why it was out but that added to a restfull stay. Look for a wi fi package before you go maybe? Children loved the idependance and being able to explore. Pool very clean area clean and well maintained.
Thanks to the excellent first aider My son has been to this site ever year with us since birth he is now 5, he has been a pirate and danced on stage and been covered in foam!!! but this year while on site still dancing around late at night had an accident and cut his head open the first aid response was amazing for 11.30 at night, none of us really thinks of the value of this service until we need it and siblu came through with flying colours so thanks for looking after my son and all the amazing experiences you offer my boys to ensure the whole family have a great relaxling but more important safe holiday.
